Day 5 provided another beautiful morning. Liam, Owen and Sharon had breakfast with a great view.

Our new friend joined us as usual. This little red headed bird keeps the patio clean.

Rex and Owen had a chance to play some tennis, at the Royal Kona Tennis Club. It was hot and muggy, so we didn't last long. Meanwhile, Scott, June and April went to the local farmers market to explore the exotic fruits and vegetables. They returned home with this collection.

The boys went swimming in the small pool at the house. They had a blast.

After the jumping contest, Liam entertained the group with his dancing. Impressive.

Mid-afternoon, we noticed a local fisherman working the rocks below the house. He tossed a net in a perfect circle, and got a lot.

The plan for the evening was to go to a Luau. However, the skies darkened and unleashed a downpour.

Before the rain hit, we all got ready for the Luau. The local information is that the Royal Kona Hotel has the best luau. Scott bought each of the ladies a fresh lei.

Unfortunately, the rain came hard and the luau was postponed for 2 days. Instead, we went to a local restaurant, Humpys, on the main drag of Alii Drive. We were on the second floor balcony and, once the rain stopped, it was a beautiful evening.

It was another terrific day. Unfortunately the rain delayed our plans, but we all had a great time.
