Day 4: Magic Sands Beach

It was another beautiful morning in Kona.

Today is a beach day.  After a leisurely breakfast of pancakes and bacon, it is time to motivate.  After packing up, we visited Magic Sands Beach, less than 5 minutes away.

The boys embraced the surf with boogy boards.  A few wipeouts, but lots of great rides.

We even shot a little video of Liam and Garrett in the surf.

It wasn't just the kids getting into it.

Meanwhile, John was stuck back at the house with a work project.

Damn computers...
Liam and Garrett met some little friends and the four of them were in the surf for a long time.

Owen had a good afternoon, and even agreed to give a smile for the camera:

After a great afternoon, we returned to the house. Finally, John was able to relax:
Like the Corona commercials...
Scott, John and Rex went out for some grocery shopping and happened to find a sports bar.  Once we shopped, we did the usual and bought a 20 pack of Miller Lite, as we have every day of the trip.

June and Sharon were hard at work making dinner for 10 and we enjoyed a terrific feast.

Hopefully, the boys don't get used to this

Once it soaked in, Garrett realized he may have gotten too much sun...

After dinner, we relaxed with a few drinks and a soak.

We could get used to this...
